01 / This prototype
A reading site, with no data forms
This privacy note describes the First Pitch source as delivered for local review. It contains static articles, navigation and external source links. It has no backend, account system, newsletter, comment section or form that submits information.
First Pitch's code does not ask for your name, email address, location, payment information or viewing preferences. There is no feature that sends a personal checklist or a game-time choice to us.
The site's script imports its local stylesheet. It does not make API requests, run AI calls, collect usage events or retrieve live scores. The article text is already present in the HTML.
03 / Source links
When you open another website
First Pitch links to the two supplied research sources: MLB and Sports Illustrated. Those links take you away from this site when you choose to open them. We do not embed their pages or fetch their content automatically.
External websites operate under their own privacy practices. Their cookies, account features and logging are outside the scope of this prototype. This note does not make claims about either publisher's policies.
The pages set a no-referrer policy so the browser is instructed not to send a referring page URL when following a link from First Pitch. Source links are ordinary links and contain no affiliate or tracking parameters added by us.
04 / Scope of this note
Local review and future hosting
No hosting provider or production domain has been selected in this work. This prototype has not been published. We cannot describe the logging, retention or data-processing practices of a future host.
If the site is deployed later, its operator should review the actual hosting environment and update this note to explain any request logging, retention and contact arrangements. A claim about the page code alone would not establish what a host does.
There is no site-managed personal-data database in this implementation, and no data-deletion form or privacy contact service has been created. A future operator should supply accurate contact details rather than leaving readers with an invented address.

Review this note when behaviour changes
This note was prepared on for the delivered prototype. It describes the implementation at that point; it is not a legal certification or a promise about future third-party hosting.
Any future accounts, embedded media, forms, analytics or storage would require a review of this page. For the separate policy on sports evidence and source selection, read About First Pitch and the source ledger.
